Roles and responsibilities
- Devising Marketing Plans and Campaigns: Analyze customer-level data to develop tailored marketing strategies and execute comprehensive marketing plans.
- Communication and Relationship Management: Write clear and persuasive communications, maintain strong relationships with brands and third parties, and convince senior-level managers of campaign benefits.
- Project Management: Work within a budget to plan and execute multiple campaigns, meet deadlines, and ensure a return on investment (ROI) for each campaign.
- Data Analysis and Numerical Proficiency: Acquire and interpret data to target customer groups effectively, evaluate campaign success, and present data-driven projections to clients.
- Technical Skills and Tool Proficiency: Utilize MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and any RDBMS for data management and presentations, and apply scripting languages like SQL, Python, or R for enhanced data analysis and automation.
Key Skills and Requirements-
- Analytical skills: As a consultant you will devise marketing plans which are driven by understanding customer level data of each brand.
- Communication skills: Excellent writing skills are a prerequisite as you will frequently have to write communications over email explaining various scenarios. Consultant also need pristine speaking skills. They have to manage relationships with brands and third parties as well as persuade a non-marketing audience, such as senior-level managers within the organization, of the wisdom of proposed campaigns.
- Project management skills: As a Consultant you will have to work with a budget, meet deadlines for multiple campaign plans and ensure ROI on marketing campaigns.
- Numerical skills: You will need to acquire data and use it to target selected groups, as well as analyze the success of campaigns. You will have to make projections for clients while presenting the campaign plan to make the client understand the estimated output of the same.
- Tools: MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and any RDBMS
- Good to have : Understanding of any scripting language i.e SQL/Python/R
